The profound awareness of how ethics can positively influence professional work, which is already reflected in the very nature of the cooperative consortium which groups various firms with diverse and complementary specialisations, is also confirmed in the adoption of an Ethical Code which clearly outlines the duties and standards of proper conduct with regard to all the parties who maintain contractual relationships with the Cooperative.EdilTecnica is a cooperative consortium comprising technical firms and small firms specialised in the execution of construction works in the broadest sense, vertically integrated for the purpose of providing the full spectrum of professional roles suited to the construction cycle: masons, carpenters, plasterers, painters, tinsmiths, installers, plumbers and electricians, restorers and landscapers, metalworkers and maintainers.
The cooperative is governed and controlled in accordance with principles of mutual support, free from private and speculative motivations. It puts itself forward as a powerful instrument, available to its technical members, especially to join together in contracts and to find work and accomplish all the activities provided for in article 6 of the Law 240/81. This falls within the provision of article 6 of the law of 8th of August 1985 n. 443. The co-operative will also be able to carry out its own activities with third parties who are not members, under article 2521 c.c. Regarding the collaborative relationships, the cooperative must respect the principle of equal treatment.
EdilTecnica provides a range of services to its own members, under the control of an internal consortium policy approved by the Chamber of Members; or rather the Administrative Management, the Technical Management, and the Commercial Management. The Cooperative makes available exclusively to them various services, from management of the consortium's equipment – including trucks – and the provision of materials.
